About us

Orbe Fire Engineering was founded to provide professional fire safety consultancy services due to a demand for our specialist skills and experience from you, our clients. We aim to provide sound and solid advice, which translates to real world buildable solutions, which meets both aesthetic and budget requirements of your design team of architects, engineers and contractors.

Our reputation is built on the quality of our work and our extensive fire safety experience. We review every project with a dedicated aim to achieve a solution that will meet the balance between legislative, stakeholder and client requirements, whilst maintaining compliance with the BCA and community expectations, no matter what the size, because every buildings’ fire and life safety is equally important to everybody, every day.

We also take into consideration the life of your project by providing solutions that are specific to the challenges and are holistic in nature, so that the future building occupiers, owners and maintenance contractors can continue to use the building safely and be able to maintain it to meet the Essential Safety Measures signoff required by state legislation.

With our knowledge of Fire Safety Engineering, Fire Protection Services and in the construction industry, with experience in a wide range of infrastructure, healthcare, retail, residential and commercial/industrial projects, we are confident we will provide you with a holistic fire safety consultancy service.

263 William Street, is a new twenty-storey office tower in the legal services of Melbourne’s CBD, that includes the existing heritage façade with bar and function space and a new two-storey basement.

Zaha Hadid designed, in Melbourne’s CBD, is a new first class fifty-storey mixed-use development, incorporating retail, restaurants, luxury hotel accommodation, office space and premium apartments and a three-storey basement carpark.

Spanish Club

Spanish Club is the construction of an eight-storey luxury apartment building and new Spanish Club Restaurant, including a two-storey basement carpark.

Saint Moritz

Saint Moritz on St Kilda’s The Esplanade is a new high-end luxury residential development that consists of three seven-to-eight-storey residential towers. The development includes luxury amenities on Ground Floor and three-storey basement carpark.

68 Clarke Street

Market Lane at 68 Clarke Street, South Melbourne is a new six-storey retail and office building and a three-storey basement carpark. A full height glazed atrium connects throughout the building to provide extensive natural light to all the office space.

Kangan Institute Building P

Kangan Institute’s Building P Bendigo, Victoria, involved the refurbishment of the existing building into the new “BKI Health and Community Centre of Excellence”.

Swinburne Library

Swinburne Library involved the new fit-out works for the existing library at Swinburne University’s Campus in Hawthorn, Victoria.

HMAS Cerberus

HMAS Cerberus project included works to various HMAS assets on the site. Included was the full renovation, refurbishment and additions to the existing heritage three-storey ‘Building 188, 189 and 187’ at HMAS Cerberus for accommodation, staff areas and training facilities.

Pilots Training System Facilities

The Pilot Training System Facilities Project was the construction of a new two-storey residential building as the new Live-in-Accommodation for the Department of Defence.

Kingston Village

Kingston Village Square is a new regional shopping centre in Ocean Grove, Victoria. The Village consists of several buildings with a main supermarket, retail, medical centre and speciality stores.
